As we did our Christmas shopping in SM Mall its surprising to see how “wintery” a tropical mall can look!
Its extremely difficult to find good kids toys in Cebu not sure if its much better in Manila but if you love Chinese tacky then your living the dream! But for quality goods such as the Thomas The Tank Engine And Friends train set we couldn’t find the track anywhere. Ewe is a huge fan and it would make his Christmas, if I had more time would have sent it from the UK but may have to wait until I am over in the UK next year.
But we have managed to pick up most of the presents for everyone in one trip. Still got a few things to find but a full day of Christmas shopping worked out well.
It was also good to get away from the construction at the moment as all we hear all day is grinding, hammering and general construction noises. By the end of this week though the 4 doors will be in and a Saturday evening of me laying the new floor should see the new office becoming very festive for the Christmas dinner.
