I had originally come into the city for some fitness equipment but April wanted to come along and it ended up with a full-day of retail therapy.
A lot of the stores were running some kind of sales with some stuff with up to 70% off. April was on the hunt for a shoe bargain and looking at a lot of the shoes I do wonder where the fashion comes from. Some very bizarre stuff out there. Although the Korean influence is apparent as things like the store “Mental” I really couldn’t understand the concept. Seemed like a bad TV show when people try to be funny who just aren’t. Maybe completely lost on me!
The Krua Thai our usual haunt in SM Mall was out refuelling point grabbing some beef curry alongside some pickled papaya and other treats.
In the end managing to get a cross trainer for burning some of this weight, April got a couple of hand bags and I also got some new ties. Biggest problem I am having so far since starting working out again is my arms don’t fit into shirts. The Filipino “slim fit” really doesn’t go with wide forearms and broad shoulders.
