Simple SNAP Hydroponics Setup

The SNAP hydroponics setups and experiments are not only for food production for ourselves but to try and encourage others to improve their diet with some home growing of they’re own. Here we are currently doing a bit of a test with using a small basin and a set of plant trays with mixed herbs and onions. The reason being is often a lot of the hydroponics setups I have seen are based on mono cropping which for me is a bit of a waste of time unless your selling them. Ideally you want a mix of plants to suit your daily needs and the current trial run we are doing is small scale so that students can be encouraged to do it on a tight budget.
