We had been warned about the ability to get completely stuffed with food in the Kebab Factory in Muscat but being curry monsters it was more of a challenge to see if it was true and could someone actually fill a group of hungry Expats to the point of being unable to eat another mouthful.
First arrived a rather small piece of chicken on a very large plate and your thinking “is that it?”. The plates are extra large which isn’t just for affect and soon started to realise why. We started to have multiple waiters bringing us food one after the other. There was a good mix of flavours and tastes so that it would suit most peoples taste buds as you didn’t have to like everything but likely to like something!
As the meal went on the waiters seemed to be quicker at delivering food and things quickly became apparent we were struggling to keep up with the volume of grub arriving. It wasn’t long until we were starting to throw in the towel and a selection of sweets arrived. ![]()
Managed a piece of all 4 and to be honest it was more out of curiosity than anything else to experience the different foods on offer. One thing is for sure though the Kebab Factory in Muscat is good value for money at around £12 a head and certainly couldn’t complain about anything. The service was fast and efficient with an odd comment thrown in such as “yummy for your tummy” and when full trying to persuade us to eat some more.
The restaurant is well worth a visit and strongly advise not eating lunch before heading out to maximise your food eating potential.
Restaurant itself is very well laid out and just generally all round loved the place.
