Universal pictures has finally released its first trailer and poster for the highly anticipated movie – Bourne Legacy. This is the first major Hollywood movie production filmed in the Philippines. A couple of movies being shot here in the country – Claire Danes’ Brokedown Palace, Marlon Brando’s Apocalypse Now, Missing in Action with Chuck Norris and Oliver Stone’s Platoon which was a hype in the 80’s.
The Bourne Legacy based on the series of novels by Robert Ludlum and Eric Van Lustbader is the fourth instalment to the”Bourne” movie franchise. Tony Gilroy, is the director of the fourth installment, who was the screenwriter of the first three films starring Matt Damon. In this fourth instalment Damon is replaced by actor Jeremy Renner from the Marvel’s The Avengers and Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.
Among the cast are Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Joan Allen, Albert Finney, Scott Glenn, Stacy Keach and Oscar Isaac.
“The Bourne Legacy” is set to open in theatres on August 3, 2012.
