With Tim over from the UK at the moment one thing missing from the apartment upstairs is the wardrobe. A lot of the ones in the malls are designed round 3/4 size to make rooms look bigger which also means they aren’t big enough for coat hangers, not only that they cost around P4,000 and come with cheap laminate that will slowly curl up with heat. Next budget option is going with plywood which we did here. It will eventually be painted but the main thing at the moment is just getting a wardrobe available upstairs for the couple while they are stopping. Total cost was about P1,500 in materials which are a lot stronger and also the dimensions are not only the right depth but added an extra third door for shoes and clothing.
April took this photo when I wasn’t looking earlier today as this was my morning project before I headed off to the pool for swim.
