Its always good to have visitors from the UK especially when bearing gifts! Being out in the Philippines for 2 years its no surprise when the grub runs low on the treats you enjoy and to have a huge mix arrive all at once is more than Christmas in many cases. I can understand why people looked forward to Red Cross parcels in WW2 as even the most simple of things from home means a lot. But Tim literally brought a lot so we have enough to keep us going for months. Cebu has a lot more selection in speciality locations if you know where to find them than when I first arrived but mainstream supermarkets generally haven’t even started to accommodate the increasing number of foreigners in the country.
Having high quality biscuits is something I miss but to be honest already missing this batch as the kids love them and quickly working their way through the supply!
