Bit of a joke if you live here but Ronald Llamas was reportedly caught buying pirate DVDs at a local mall in Quezon City which was reported in the Inquirer and its sister publication Bandera.
This has resulted in unspecified sanctions about to be taken against Llamas for his actions due to it being seen as undermining the anti-piracy campaigns the government runs.
From my point of view I ask what Anti-Piracy campaigns as simply there is pirated software everywhere and on top of that some very disturbing material is available for sale such as child pornography DVDs. So if Ronald Llamas was caught buying some blockbuster movie at least he’s been at the stalls that sell the DVDs to have an idea of what they are selling instead of sitting in an ivory tower oblivious to the real problems.
Glad he has confidence in Ronald Llamas because the world hasn’t got confidence in Aquino as president!
Pirate DVD’s that’s a bit of a joke with the number of fake handbags,clothes and even motorbikes in the Philippines! Lets not forget here these Elite’s not only allow all this pirated stuff into the Philippines they profit from it.
